Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope these long paintings don't spook you too bad! They sure are cut though!

Saturday

New Paintings for the Booth In Gypsy Emporium, In Time For Halloween and the Holidays!

Got a few more paintings done for my seller's booth in Hurricane. A large colorful landscape, two dog paintings, a painting of a dance duo and a guitar.  The landscape is huge, 48" x 36". The two 3 eyed dogs are 8" x 10", Absinthe and The Devil is 12" x 14", and the guitar is a standard size Danelectro.

Sunday

A Portrait of the Ancient and Outsider Gods, Mother And Child

I'm proud of this one. Even though it's on a panel, and it isn't framed, I'm trying to sell it for $40 at the Gypsy Emporium in Hurricane. It's a very Lovecraft/Cthulhu style, but presented in a christian/byzantine/classical art kind of way. I just can't express how much I like this particular piece. 12" x 16".

Two Skulls and an Owl paintings, just in time for Halloween!

These paintings are for sale in Hurricane at the Gypsy Emporium, each skull painting are $10 and the large owl painting is $60. Halloween is a great time of the year, when its okay to make paintings that are dark and have unusual subjects. So, it all works out. The skulls are 12" x 16", and the owl is 24" x 36".

A Jar Of Piss

Normally I don't make art that is crass or graphic, but I made this watercolor painting and continuous line drawing nearly 5 years ago, during a dark time in my life. I found it again while looking through a folder of old artworks, and I decided to frame it and display it because it gave me such a strong feeling of nostalgia. 12" x 14".

"How Did I Get Here?"

This painting is a combination of paint left on my palette after the last few paintings, and makes a statement that I feel time to time. Will someone get that same feeling, while gazing upon my painting for a minute or so? Possibly. 18" x 12".

Thursday

A painting for me!

This painting was gifted to me by an acquaintance, who was interested in my bathroom art blog and Instagram. Maybe more art coming soon, from a new bathroom artist? Also, he gave this to me on HIS birthday. What a guy!

Sunday

Butterflies With Eyes

This altered illustration is in a noticeably different spot, and there is a reason for that. The adhesive tape I use was left in the heat for a while, and became weakened. So rather than have it at eye level and have it eventually come crashing down, I stuck it in an area where it had some support and wouldn't fall too far to the ground :)
12" x 16"

Chalkboard-style: Bartosaur, Beer Can, Long Neck Dinosaur, and A is for Apple!

These complimenting paintings are all hanged in the same stall, because I didn't think anyone would appreciate them seperately all over town! The thought behind these "chalkboard" style paintings is mainly a spur of the moment idea. At first I thought it would be good to really paint these with full color and shading, but I also like how simple they all are. So, I left them as is and hanged them together for a truly affective art installation, one might struggle to forget.
The painting A is for Apple is approximately 8" x 8", Bartosaur is 14" x 12", Long Neck Dinosaur is 5" x 20", and the Beer Can is 9" x 12".

Wednesday

Watercolor Collaboration, With Rebecca!

These watercolors were the product of a date night with Rebecca, while I was visiting my brother in Bellingham, WA. I drew them, and she colored them. Didn't she do a great job? 9"x12" on watercolor paper.

Sunday

Continuous Landscape

One of the very few landscapes I've ever done. However, expect more similar to this in the future, because this might be the only way to make money! 8"x 6"

Hello, Friend!

XXX bottle of social lubricant, saying Hello! 8"x 10"

Fast Food, by Meagan Aldridge!

Fast food is Meagan's favorite subjects. She eats at least 2 fast food meals a day! 12"x 14"

Miggy Maos and Vomit, by Meagan Aldridge!

Miggy Maos is an abstraction of a popular mouse character, and a terrific tattoo idea if you ever want one! AND, introducing new Bathroom Artist Meagan Aldridge, an boy is she twisted! Her first portrait in classy continuous line and watercolor, of a person projectile vomiting. Powerful.

Psychedelic Skull

This three-eyed multi-cool-colored skull was painted over atleast 3 other paintings on this canvas. Sometimes I just can't decide what to leave alone and what to hang up. This painting was popular on instagram, so maybe follow me and check it out? iwouldhangthatinmy@instagram have a look and enjoy the other form of social media 14"x 10"

Silly Geese

This needle point came with the frame, I got it with a batch of frames off Craigslist. Instead of replacing it with my own art, I decided to make it a collaboration and personalize it. I thought it was a wholesome message, certainly appropriate for the bathroom! 12"x10"

Saturday

Signs at my shop

I made some speech bubble signs a couple weeks ago, and now my booth is more eye catching than before! Stompy the Elephant Head has one, and so does the booth guardian Bootsy. What better way to showcase my art, than to give the decorations speech bubbles?

Bootsy The Cat

Bootsy the cat, an art installation by NN2K. Not for sale! Bootsy guards the booth, day and night at the booth. Civilians and patrons see Bootsy as a papier-mache kitty, nothing more. Teeny-boppers and delinquents see Bootsy as something.... else. What do you see?

Booth=Completed. for now.

A basic booth, not too full of stuff, but enough. I have to rearrange it every month, with new stuff paintings and books, but I might just leave the books and swap out the paintings. The books are from my collection, the average books are on the top shelf for $2, the two following shelves are stocked with paranormal and religious books and they cost $5, the following shelf has rare LDS books and rare paranormal books for $10, and the bottom shelf has comicbook and mangas for $5. I have an assortment of DVDs and TV shows on the shelf next to the book shelf, and some DISCOUNTED watercolor paintings in a small wooden crate for $10 a piece. If you are ever in Hurricane, check it out! Located at 25 east State Street in Hurricane, UT 74737

Sunday

New Booth/Seller's Space

Set up a booth at Gypsy Emporium, in Hurricane, UT just off of State Street! Its about halfway set up, with some of my paintings hanging up, a shelf and a guitar. Stompy the elephant head and Bootsy the shop guardian need no introduction.
The paintings are Submarine vs. Giant Squid in the Tall Grass, Spiderman and Blackcat, Lucky Duck in color, Eye Apple, Runaway Elephant, Rasta Dog, The Giraffestronaut and the Grumpy Cat portrait.
Can't wait to see what happens next!
