Bootsy The Cat

Bootsy the cat, an art installation by NN2K. Not for sale! Bootsy guards the booth, day and night at the booth. Civilians and patrons see Bootsy as a papier-mache kitty, nothing more. Teeny-boppers and delinquents see Bootsy as something.... else. What do you see?

Booth=Completed. for now.

A basic booth, not too full of stuff, but enough. I have to rearrange it every month, with new stuff paintings and books, but I might just leave the books and swap out the paintings. The books are from my collection, the average books are on the top shelf for $2, the two following shelves are stocked with paranormal and religious books and they cost $5, the following shelf has rare LDS books and rare paranormal books for $10, and the bottom shelf has comicbook and mangas for $5. I have an assortment of DVDs and TV shows on the shelf next to the book shelf, and some DISCOUNTED watercolor paintings in a small wooden crate for $10 a piece. If you are ever in Hurricane, check it out! Located at 25 east State Street in Hurricane, UT 74737

Set up a booth at Gypsy Emporium, in Hurricane, UT just off of State Street! Its about halfway set up, with some of my paintings hanging up, a shelf and a guitar. Stompy the elephant head and Bootsy the shop guardian need no introduction.
The paintings are Submarine vs. Giant Squid in the Tall Grass, Spiderman and Blackcat, Lucky Duck in color, Eye Apple, Runaway Elephant, Rasta Dog, The Giraffestronaut and the Grumpy Cat portrait.
Can't wait to see what happens next!

Cause for Celebration!

The Etsy shop has new products, the Bathroom Art facebook page has over 100 likes and the instagram profile IWOULDHANGTHATINMY has 100 likes now too! Also, to top it all off, this blog has been viewed over 2,000 times since I've started it nearly 3 years ago.
What does this mean? Well, for starters I'd like to thank all of the fans and supporters I've had. This achievement is small, but I'm still very grateful.
Secondly, because this is small successful I still have lots of work to do. Finish the all-encompassing website Grumbus Works, finish up some comics for the mini books to sell on Etsy, business cards and making arrangements for showcasing my art! A daunting task, I know, I definitely have my work cut out for me.
The reason I'm announcing all this is because, overall, I want this to become some kind of lucrative business, on any level, even if its really small. Thats all I can really say, for now.
If you would like a personal "thank you", I'd love to send you a card. I have a stack of handmade cards I'd be more than happy to send out, just get a hold of me over facebook, instagram, email me at grumbus.works@gmail.com and comment on this blog if you want!
Thanks again, everyone!

Watercolors

  Just some watercolors I had to do for a college art class. Tried to add some personality to a mundane shading and highlighting assignment, and the instructor didn't appreciate it. Funny faced cones are an acquired taste, so no hard feelings. 10"x 16", and the red things in the toilet were on the backside of the hardcore adhesive tape.
